Summit Entertainment has given Collider with a Robert Pattinson on set interview and a ton of behind the scenes footage from Remember Me. While I generally don’t post studio provided interviews, I know how popular Robert Pattinson is, and the 9 minute interview isn’t online yet.

And regarding the behind the scenes footage…when a movie is filming, the studio will document the process and release what’s called B-Roll. This is generally footage of the cast and crew working on location, or footage of the cast filming a scene. If you’re curious what being on a movie set is really like, you’ll enjoy the footage. Remember Me stars Robert Pattinson, Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan, and Chris Cooper. Allen Coulter directed the film and William Fetters wrote the script. Hit the jump to check out the footage and interview:

Here’s the synopsis:

In the romantic drama Remember Me, Robert Pattinson plays Tyler, a rebellious young man in New York City who has had a strained relationship with his father (Pierce Brosnan) ever since tragedy separated their family. Tyler didn’t think anyone could possibly understand what he was going through, until the day he met Ally (Emilie de Ravin) through an unusual twist of fate. Love was the last thing on his mind, but as her spirit unexpectedly heals and inspires him, he begins to fall for her. Through their love, he begins to find happiness and meaning in his life. Soon, hidden secrets are revealed and tragedy lingers in the air, as the circumstances that brought them together threaten to tear them apart.

We’ve put the behind the scenes footage behoind the cut..enjoy!! (more…)

The Lovely Nikki(RPExaminer) wrote an article about the Starve a Vampire, Give Blood Campaign:

starve

There’s no question about it: When it comes to charity work, Twilight, Robert Pattinson, and other vampire-loving communities are ten steps ahead of the game.

In the weeks following the devastation in Haiti, Pattinson fansite Thinking of Rob worked hard to encourage donations and to get the word out to people about how they could help the country during its time of disaster. Rob himself appeared on George Clooney’s well-organized Hope for Haiti Telethon. Fans from across the globe united to help raise money for a country that is struggling to get back on its feet in wake of an epic earthquake.

Now fans are uniting once again, this time to help the Red Cross collect blood donations.

Let Me Sign, a well-known Rob fansite, has teamed up with the Red Cross and fans of the Vampire Diaries and True Blood to bring you the Starve a Vampire, Give Blood Campaign. The campaign is designed to help the American Red Cross collect blood donations. According to the charity’s website, 30% of Americans currently donate blood. The campaign will start March 1 and go through March 14. Fans are encouraged to make an appointment to donate blood during this time period, by visiting www.redcrossblood.org or calling 1-800-GIVE-LIFE (1-800-448-3543).

Over the course of the last few years, vampires have exploded into a pop-culture phenomena. People all over the world have found themselves identifying with one, if not all, of the above mentioned fandoms. Just think how much of a difference would be made if every vampire fan who was physically able to donate blood went out and did it!

For more information on the campaign, to ask questions about the campaign, or to get banners and buttons in support of the campaign, check out Let Me Sign or any of the sites listed below that are also involved in the campaign:

We have partnered with PaulWesleyFans.com to promote awareness and encourage everyone to donate blood.

Starve A Vampire, Give Blood!

starve

Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come
from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate.
There is no substitute for your donation.

We are teaming forcing with Twilight, True Blood and Vampire Diaries fans
all over the U.S.A. to have a national Starve a Vampire, Give Blood
Campaign. With so many Vampire fans all over and knowing we can make a
difference if we all join forces, we can make this drive really count for
people that need blood every day.

The Campaign will run form March 1st-14th. You can either give blood on this
day or make an appointment to give blood. Shelf life for Blood is only 42
days, so spreading this campaign out seems to be a right choice.
After talking to the Red Cross, O- blood is highly needed.
Please go to the links below to find a location near you or to make an

It’s been just a little over a week since a massive earthquake devastated the Caribbean Island of Haiti, leveling buildings and capturing countless citizens underneath the rubble.

While aid efforts for Haiti began shortly after the earthquake, tonight, some of Hollywood’s biggest stars got together to bring further awareness to the cause. Amonst them was “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson, who stressed the importance of technology during this crisis.

Robert, who appeared on camera from London, shared the story of a girl in Haiti who had been buried under a flattened university for nearly six days, praying that someone would find her. Finally, on the sixth day, rescuers discovered her because of a text message sent from underneath the rubble.

Amazing.

The story was just one example of how technology, including Twitter, Facebook and texting, has shaped the response to the earthquake in Haiti.

Here is his speech in full:

“Underneath a flattened university, Maxine Fallon waited. She was crouched in a fetal position and could barely move. In the darkness and during the hectic sounds of the day, through the pain, the hunger and thrist, she prayed that someone would find her. And on the sixth day her prayers were answered, she was found because of atext message from the rubble sent rescuers to her side. Unlike any other event in history, our world has been connected to this tragedy because of technology. Twitterupdates, Facebook pages with pictures of the missing and text messages for help. This technology is working right now to connect us, too. At hopeforhaitinow.org, you can donate and you can instantly interact with people in Haiti and anywhere in the globe. Join with those watching and see what they’re saying about something we all care deeply about — helping the Haitian people get back on their feet. Please go to hopeforhaitinow.org. Thank you.”

Robert of course, was just one of the “Twilight” stars to participate in the benefit to help Haiti. Across the pond in L.A, his “New Moon” costars Taylor Lautner and Anna Kendrick answered calls from people interested in making a donation.
